Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

At least if you do get word to them, you'll be sending them my way!

Oh Amy, that can't be good. Dude, I wonder if I have a stash of rock salt.

Because books.

And blackbirds! So spooky. That's a little too "rain of toads" for me, man.

Well, it's not as if the skies aren't normally full of the damn things, so not quite as freaky as toads raining down from a sky they're not supposed to be in. Though I can't ever recall huge masses of them getting zapped by inclement weather, so I do wonder what's going on.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not as emotionally involved by that as I'd have thought. Mostly because I can't get into Dean's head, even though the author is spending a lot of time there. I get it, insofar as he's worried he's ignoring the rest of his life for Cas, but that doesn't seem to be what's going through his head as he talks to Cas.

It's actually gotten more curtain ficcy than I thought it was going to be, and more than I'd like (I want more house fires and ACTION! to surround the story), and bypassing some issues in favor of creating problems out of thin air.

Speaking of issues and action, how about that Soup Kitchen, eh?
