And so sad after I just re-watched the one where they go to heaven and find out all of Sam's happy memories are Dean-less.
That episode doesn't make me sad any longer, it only irritates me since I have firmly planted myself in the "Zachariah manipulated everything that happened there" camp. Zachariah made the guys see what he wanted them to see in order to evoke the responses he wanted, and it worked. I'm sure those particular episodes were happy ones for Sam, but I really doubt they were Sam's happiest memories ever. And I really, truly, sincerely doubt that what we saw were Dean's happiest memories (really, seeing his Mommy arguing with his Daddy -- for a little boy that would by scary or sad). Surely some other Mary-related moment would come in higher. Or maybe the first time he got to drive, or being handed the keys to the Impala, or killing his first evil thing, or saving someone for the first time... The scene where Zachariah was fondling Mary was enough of a clue for me that he was directing everything that they were seeing there.
