You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Oh plucking. I thought it was an acting choice, that he was keeping his brow raised to indicate Sam's somehow different.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, last season I was enjoying pinkraygun's SPN reviews a lot, but for some reason I'm not feeling it this year. She seems pretty clearly "Ew! You're not named Winchester! Get off my screen!" and says things like "Why do all the women always wear white nightgowns?" I know it's a big SPN victim lampshade, but we've seen tons of women not in white nightgowns. Remember the Smurfs? Bobby does not always rescue the boys. He helps them sometimes. Get over it. They're not the alpha and omega of hunting, and the idea that they should be is ridic.

I am surprised by how much she liked Weekend At Bobby's and The Third Man, but still she manages to complain about Bobby and Cas anyway.

Read some of the Twilight fusion D/C BB. There are some odd errors in the fic that I'm going to chalk up to ESL and total brainfart on the part of the betas. "Glove department?" Seriously? I was worried because the prologue was incredibly purple and florid, but that seems to be a POV thing. Once Dean and Sam show up the tone gets a lot more manageable.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I took the prologue to be a big ole mocky mockery.

No, she really does complain about Bobby every time he appears. And Cas. Magic Bobby and Soap Angel. And she restates it in her replies to the comments. I don't get her position of "Okay, I enjoyed these episodes, but SAMANDDEANANDMORESAM!!!!!" Christ, I love them too, but how boring and unhealthy would that be? SPN has given us some interesting supporting cast members, and as much as I like the boys fucked up, I don't want them that fucked up.

Soap Angel?

I have no idea what Soap Angel is about.

The Twilight thing--well, one wonders if she is writing it because she loves Twilight and thinks it's great literature. That was my worry. And I don't know the source text well enough to know what's parody and what's emulation. But what I've read of the rest of it so far, it's just fine. Both Sam and Dean are very cute.

All of Izzy's thoughts screamed to me "stupid stupid girl! See how stupid she is?", so I took it as ribbing at the fusion material.

Love Cupid's inclusion.

Maybe because Cas is self-cleaning? In which case he'd be a supertunia. Or an oven.

Sorry, that just takes me to a sexytimes place. It just makes things so much tidier, you know?

There was that highermagic were'verse where Cas licked himself clean (and Dean, too). OMG, the shit I read.
