Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I dislike your reality, and believe I want to ignore it.

(Except for the Ticky box part, of course.)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

You should give me a title for the Mary story. Then I can post it and pretend I have time and the ability to write stuff.

I suck at titles though.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

See, I'm not on board with the Alistair-Lied brigade, because so far on the show, the most painful things the demons have said have always been the truth. The truth twisted to be as awful as possible, but the truth. So, yeah, John lasted 100 years, and it was AWFUL. But the truth of that is a weapon against Dean now, when it wouldn't have been before, which is why Alistair didn't tell him before.

Also: yay fic by Plei!

It is at least possible that John could hold out longer than Dean. John had, as far as we know, a fairly normal childhood and adolescence. He had a hard time in Vietnam, and then a happy marriage until he lost his wife. He did not have the misfortune to have hunter!John as a father. So of course Dean did not have the internal resources John had.

Ugh. Finally came up with a title.

My writer skills, they are rusty. 700 words shouldn't be so hard. Anyhoo.

John the hunter was always more stubborn than his son.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

So of course Dean did not have the internal resources John had.

Partly because he didn't have the huge red button entitled "Daddy issues - push here!" emblazoned on his weaknesses like Dean does.

Because Dean had John for a father! And John didn't.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Why isn't there fanfic about this?

I avidly support (1) the notion of DB Woodside appearing on Show in any capacity, but most especially in a have-sex-with-Dean capacity. Maybe with Dean and Castiel. And Sam. And...Ngah...(2) the notion of fanfic pertaining to the above, possibly with Robin Wood in a crossover.

In conclusion, I should like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Alternatively, that might just have to go on the list of fics-I=need-to-write-after-finishing-the-current-surprisingly-long-SPN-story. Because - the hotness!
