Like starting an argument about toilet paper and over vs. under . . .
I think, whether Lisa is The One or not, I think the messy fact remains is that he did romanticize her and Ben. And that that doesn't negate her as The One. But I don't think she needs to be The One, or that his romantization of her and Ben needs to be valid or solid. And I think, honestly, that it's better that it's messy and fucked up and a little not real, and that she's fucked up for letting him in her door and that they're both playing a whacked out version of house.

I Pooh Cased the last word here and went to a seriously fucked up naughty nurse place.
And I love Bobby! But if they had never introduced Bobby, I would have been happy for his character's role to have been filled by Ellen instead.
Yes this.
And you know come to think of it, I'm fine with Lisa and Dean not working out romantically, but I still want her character to have a place in their world for the reasons I've mentioned.

I wish I trusted Show to do that, though. Because that's precisely what I want them to do. I'm not mad at Dean for going to her, not in the least. I'm kinda mad at her taking him in, but that's mostly because I think the show will treat it as the Right Thing.
It's not like most of the show's relationships aren't fucked up, but I trust them much more with man on man loving (all unsexuality
mostly
intended) that with this.
UNDER!!!!
(not really)
I'm sick of women being killed off, left, marginalized.
And I'm the one who thinks that just because of this, Lisa doesn't have to be protected and set on a magical pedestal where she does no wrong and IZ PERFECT and does no wrong to Dean and is emotionally healthy. WhyTF does she get a pass? I mean, at the cost of all narrative purposes available, why is she the sacred cow?
I'm also the person who says "why isn't the black dude allowed to be magical ever again?", which may be another whole can of worms, but there it is.

No she doesn't have to be those things. But her character can still have a place in the story.
I'm a little enh at the idea of a non-active-in-the-quest person in the storyline, but execution could change my mind. I like them isolated for healthy normality. I crave and adore that.
CW has posted a sneak peek.
I'm wary but also weary. So...I don't know where that leaves me.
