I don't recall ever seeing the action of fastening or unfastening seatbelts in the car.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
They're rebels, our Winchesters!
Grr. I'm reading a fic I'd bookmark, but for two things: Dean's too homophobic (a little gay panic is fine, but there's too much "I'm no homo") and all the sex he's had with women hasn't really been real.
Good god, people. Why can't he just be bisexual? Why you gotta trash Anna and Cassie and all the other wimmens? Hell, even if he is gay. that can still have been meaningful, but this is too dismissive.
Hmmph.
Yet, I'ma let it finish.
all the sex he's had with women hasn't really been real
Wait, so he resolves the gay panic by deciding all het sex had previously doesn't count?
I know. I didn't really expect to see both of those extremes in the same scene of the same fic. But there's a difference between "I'm not attracted to men, what is this?" and "Dean Winchester is no homo" and between "This is the best sex of my life" and "None of the other sex counted" and this fic picks the eyerolly choice both times.
Blech.
God, I want the next three weeks to FLY. FLY, I tell you.
Jensen should be doing things like this instead of MBV3D.
god, yes. i'm really not a fan of Ryan Phillipe and more than once his Texas accent irked me in that movie.
and all the sex he's had with women hasn't really been real.
Why does a writer even think this is necessary to validate a slashy relationship? Unless Dean forgot to mention one of his former girlfriends or one-night stands rescuing him from Hell on another occasion or dying on his behalf twice, I think Castiel wins the thoughtful gift and show of devotion medals hands-down. Shouldn't that be enough without having to make Dean realize how unsatisfying all the sex he's been enthusiastically having for the last 15 years was too?
Blind Spot: whoa, good whump. The worst of it was for the most part non-explicit and implied subtley, or simply left to the imagination, and broken up through the narrative via flashbacks/dreams, so it's not overwhelming. And yet still: oh god the pain!
I was very late for work finishing it. I still can't believe that was the story that started with Dean gassing Sam out of the car. I kinda want a sequel, to see how Dean going to and coming back from hell is dealt with in light of this take on season 3 (because I'm mean and don't want Dean to get out of his crossroads deal in this 'verse).
Google auto-complete relevant to Winchester interests?
eta: I'm definitely going to have to finish Blind Spot, then. I'm three or four chapters in so far, and Dean's hurting pretty good. The other story added Dark!Sam to the mix, and I just don't trust the author, so I'm ditching it.
