Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's Lithy's. There doesn't seem to be a streaming version up.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

I don't likelike DA.

See I recognize all the ways in which it shouldn't be likable, and yet, I always seem to enjoy it when I watch. I'm willing to acknowledge there may be very shallow reasons for that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Aw, I knew Bev would come through with a link to Lithy.

(I need to rewatch so I can start doing that again).

You really do. I hear several texts in a row and smile. Because FIC!

Oh, DA. You sucked in a lot of ways but I love you so much...

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I LOVE Joshua.

Too bad he grew up to become Keamy on Lost.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got sad reading the dropout list for the D/C BB. A few authors there I'm gonna miss. (I won't lie--a couple there I'm only gonna miss for the lulz).

But I'm excited! Mini bang posting soon! I have no idea about the general quality coming up, but at least there'll be a topic I like to sift through every morning--there's so little not J2 or Wincest it seems in the BB recently. Well, there was just a D/C story (told from the POV of Jimmy), but it was so awful I only made it one page in. Just blah. Am checking out the gen Last Child.

Summergen is cool, but I'm finding the BB has spoiled me for length. How bad is that?

Because books.

Every time I look at the newsletter lately, I'm amazed at how many Sam/Gabriel fics there are. So not interested in that pairing. Not just uninterested -- I find it completely unbelievable.

I need to check out Summer_gen -- the length is probably just right for me, actually.

HATE SAM/GABRIEL WITH UNREASONING PASSION. I just...it ruins Sam for me. And it keeps getting tossed into D/C. DNW. I tried, recently, to see if my aversion was still strong, and yup. It throws me out of the whole fic.

*Only* as crack, and then in limited doses. Most people are just not going to do the work to make it in character. They don't seem to care.

Because books.

It seems like some bizarre need for parity -- Dean gets an angel(boyfriend), so Sam needs one, too! Uh, not really, people. I'd believe it better if he came on to Crowley.

Warm cherry pie:

I think my post-show fantasy for them is Dean and Cas on the road, fighting evil (and, you know, being in lurve), and Sam with Sarah, setting up a research database/library for other hunters (and being in lurve), and joining them for hunts off and on. And having kids so Dean can be a kickass uncle once in a while and get his dad on again.
