I don’t mean to skip to the end, but I think I already said today I’m feeling impatient, I already know what quote I want to win. I don’t want to jinx it though.
I’m not up to reasons.

I need to think about a couple of these but that last quote match-up reminded me of something I had wanted to ask. I've seen a number of people who thought that when Dean said "Then I ain't going to let him die alone", he meant that he would make it so he died with Sam. I thought, given the conversation he and Sam had in the car, that he meant he wanted to be with Sam when Sam died. How did you interpret that line - a desire to be with Sam or die with Sam?
lcat, I think it was both. He was certainly up for dying in the encounter (but not allowed to off himself, according to the promise Sam extracted), so while I don't think he was out and out
trying
to off himself, he was typical quasi-suicidal Dean.
Almost Croatoan!Dean, but not quite.
