I never smell the maple syrup.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Are we still blaming New Jersey for that?

From the direction of the wind, it seems to be New Jersey's fault.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Durham, NC, used to smell like chocolate when the tobacco in the warehouses was curing. I wonder if they're curing something else in NYC?

In unrelated news, sheepdogs are guarding a fairy penguin colony.

A quick poll of my outer borough co-workers seems to confirm that last night's syrup was only smellable in Queens.

“Not dead yet!”

Downtown Jacksonville smells like roasting coffee. But given that we have a Maxwell House plant downtown, this makes sense and there's a reason.

And it only took me three checks to write 2008 instead of 2009. Okay. Got that out of the way.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sheepdogs are guarding a fairy penguin colony

Such an awesome headline, but no pictures!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Downtown Jacksonville smells like roasting coffee. But given that we have a Maxwell House plant downtown, this makes sense and there's a reason.

Yeah, that's why it's so funny -- I think we still don't know where it's coming from. Not like the old NECCO plant in Cambridge!
