A quick poll of my outer borough co-workers seems to confirm that last night's syrup was only smellable in Queens.
Downtown Jacksonville smells like roasting coffee. But given that we have a Maxwell House plant downtown, this makes sense and there's a reason.

Sometimes Halifax smells yeasty from a brewery, and sometimes it smells like burnt coffee. Which may also be from a brewery.
