Liese, are you at your mom's place or have you made it home yet?

Kat, I just showed DH the cardboard rocket and he wants to know why we don't have one.

Cash, you should get one. I'm not sure more than one kid can fit at a time, but damn, it's fun.

They also carry the nicest toy kitchens I've ever seen.

Speaking of kitchens, K told me we can't give N his toy kitchen (currently in two 60 lb boxes in the dining room) until their birthday in March. WAH.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac is down, I am headed that way soon - tomorrow we have plans with one of mac's friends and parent to the Planetarium and Museum of Natural History.

Tonight I am loading up the downloading queue - many of the LPs I want to get rid of are not on LALA (I think many are oop or never on CD, but they are torrents/torrented/available as torrents - you know, out there on the internet machine. And mac is almost done with some of the cartoons I had downloaded last year, so I am re-stocking for him also. Seems like a good thing to do overnight.

OH! So you got it! Cool! Maybe you can stealthily set it up in the garage? (I can feel K giving me the stinkeye now.)

Art Crawl!!!

I'm sad that there seem to be no Fred and Ginger movies available tonight.

I need to get dvds of those.

My fabulous NYE dinner was bread, nutella and a honeycrisp apple.

sara, we got this one which is not as fancy as the beautiful hardwood one. But it's also gender neutral, all wood and promises to be 4+ hours of set and construction.

Smoking ban leads to major drop in heart attacks.

It's interesting. Second hand smoke seems to be much worse than even previously anticipated.

Liese, are you at your mom's place or have you made it home yet?

Yup, we're still at my mom's. Don't know exactly when we're going to leave, but it'll be the 3rd-5th probably. Tomorrow is our normal NY meal (fondue!) because we were supposed to have Dave's folks down here too. But it looks like with health they're not going to make it over.

Then Friday with D.'s brother & sister. Saturday maybe a couple of other friends. But I'm ready to be home soon, I think. We'll just have to dodge a little more weather, probably.

Rocket==Awesome.
