Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think I was focusing on CI stuff for some reason. (Said some reason being that I couldn't find them in the Holiday Baking issue of the magazine.)

Ah, makes sense.

I think I need to look up a good gingerbread cake recipe. Because it sounding like a better and better idea. Oooh, I could bake it in cupcake liners! And my silicon baking pan that makes heart-shaped cakes!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It's cold and drizzly in SF. And by cold I mean it's 46, and by drizzly I mean you would get moistened if you stepped outside.

Boo fucking hoo. Let me wipe away the tears with my shovel-blistered hand.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Indeed. It hasn't gotten above freezing here since the ice storm, so people are losing power due to wind knocking down icy branches.

Someday, I will learn not to have caffeine at late dinner, as it makes me unable to sleep. At least I don't have anywhere to be, apart from non-time-sensitive-errands.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Here it's 19° with 24 mph winds and a wind chill of 6°. In retrospect, staying in aside from lunch and doing nothing today was a wise decision.

Seattle's SNOWPOCALYPSE is so done with for me. It has been snowing for over 24 hours. On top of the snow we got on Thursday, which no one knew how to deal with and hadn't been plowed or salted. And it is supposed to be just warm enough (33 degrees) during the day tomorrow and Tuesday and freezing at night to make everything ICY ICY SLICK on all the hills. This is going to be FUN FUN FUN!! Oh, and even once the current snow stops, we might get MORE!

WTF?? I am so over this.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

For all you fellow ice and snow sufferers, if you don't have them already, I recommend YakTrax.
