Oh my god.
The guy who taught me how to drive a car just friended me on Facebook.
Heard back from the vet. As expected, increasing his dose, but slowly. MK's BG's were in the 500 (ack!) They'll recheck him in a couple weeks when I take him in to board for TG (!!!! so soon!) and adjust accordingly when he's there.
I'm glad you knew the symptoms and brought him in. What's normal BG for a cat?

Normal for an insulin dependent cat is in the 100-200 range. 300 still being the top end of OK.
I really should have gotten a glucometer back in the day and done it myself. But when he's normal and not having health crises, he's been really well regulated so it kinda isn't necessary.
I discovered today that my officemate had never heard of 21 Jump Street. Then I realized that he was three when it started.
