Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

... if you tell me you just bought a new pair of clogs, I am going to suspect you've stolen my life.

Hee! I did not buy clogs, so I think we're OK. Oh, and thanks!

West Wing is awesome. And so is A Few Good Men,

True fact. Man, I haven't seen that movie in years.

I'm going to have to try the mustard & butter topping. That does sound yum.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And so is A Few Good Men, which is probably my favorite Tom Cruise movie, as I never really liked Tom Cruise, even in his HeyDay as a teen heartthrob.

He's really good in Tropic Thunder. Basically by playing a really really horrible person, but with brio.

“Not dead yet!”

And so is A Few Good Men, which is probably my favorite Tom Cruise movie, as I never really liked Tom Cruise, even in his HeyDay as a teen heartthrob.

It's probably one of the few movies in which I was able to forget that he was Tom Cruise and actually buy him as the character. And damn, how I love watching Jack Nicholson chew scenery in that one.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

a picture of her in Paris Match, taken by Annie Leibovitz

Wow. Stunning.

Utterly. No other word for it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From Fabulon, a picture and caption that are awesome!

Last night, as I drove through Hampden, I thought I saw someone from the physics dept in college. But no, what are the odds of that?

She posted on facebook she found a hat in B'more. I asked her if she'd been in Hampden that night. Sure enough! She'd even eaten at the cafe in my building! She just felt awkward contacting me.

The really funny thing is that nearly a decade ago, I went down to DC for the 4th. On the Mall, in a sea of over a million, I ran into her and ended up sitting with her and her sister (who married a physics grad a couple years behind me) for the fireworks.

Talk about weird!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

And so is A Few Good Men, which is probably my favorite Tom Cruise movie, as I never really liked Tom Cruise, even in his HeyDay as a teen heartthrob.

This is so me. I am now earwormed with "You can't handle the truth!" and "I want you to stand there in that fagedy white uniform and give me the respect I am damned well due." and "You want me on that wall, you need me on that wall."

I may need to go find a copy and watch it again.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Are A Few Good Men and The Front Page/His Girl Friday the only movies where a close male relationship in a play has been translated to a male/female romantic relationship in the movie?
