So I have a tree now. A sparkly silver white little 2 foot tree! Taylor's family gave it to me in gratitude for being in their lives. I got to meet her mom face to face, too. She decorated it for me.
Awwww.
(It's now on the highest shelf in the livingroom because OMG cats!)

Well, they are starting in Philly but picking up Biden in Wilmington!!!
I'm so psyched about it because my boyfriend is flying into philly on the 16th and i'm going up to meet him and bring him back and we can meet up with my family and greet the Obama/Bidens in my hometown!!!

I've never done a tree because it didn't seem worth the effort. The sentiment was always based on my family's tree. But from now on, I'll have this tree and think of them and so it'll go up every year, in all its white & sparkly.

Random person from high school who I friended on facebook against my better judgement (I don't really remember him, except he was a couple of years younger than me, played the trumpet behind me, and is now married a woman who was another one of my gay best friend's friends) has nw posted funny pictures which are offensive to me -- Barack Obama smoking with a caption about Newports which sounds racist, and a fat kid getting hit in the face with a basketball with the caption "no wonder you always get picked last, fatty") Grrrr!
