Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm doing oatmeal butterscotch, raspberry thumbprints, and chocolate chip pecan.

It's ridiculously cold in here, but can't figure out how to turn on this heater.

Target's having a crazy sale on that stuff until tomorrow.

Ooooh! Thanks for the heads up!

My cookie plan involves the 2kg (that's 4.5 lbs) bag of Chipits I bought at Costco.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You can make lavender cookies? I've been meaning to try making rosewater cake for a long time....

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My baking repertoire is cheesecake, pumpkin bread and banana bread(with or without nuts). I can do other things, probably, but I haven't been motivated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have some shopping to do, but I'm scared.

I looked at my bank balance this morning, and now I'm scared.

I got the pink socks for my nephew, now I need something to go with them...I'm thinking movie money or maybe a video game. I usually end up buying games he hates, so movie money might be a better bet. Maybe I'll go to a record shop and buy him so stickers for his guitar case too.
