Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Awww....

My birth experience involved lots of drugs and an emergency c-section and quite frankly sucked. Still planning to do it again, though.

ME too. Except the not planning to do it again as clearly I suck at being a pregnant person.

German is totally the language of pain. Which makes it TEH AWESOME.

There are three Great Danes that frequent the dog park where we take Sass. One of them is the smallest she can be and still be w/in AKA standards - the other two are huge -- and we call her the "pocket Dane."

I just sent that link to my coworker who has her own Great Dane--I'm now waiting for her to come over and coo about him.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What are people doing this weekend?

I have to come to work, at least briefly, and brave costco, but otherwise I am going to be at home making cookies and stuff.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I am going to be at home making cookies and stuff.

I hope to do some of this. I'll also be looking around for smallish (1-2 cup) bottles into which to decant my first attempt at cherry cordial manufacturing. It looks and smells like cherry liquor goodness, but it may just be red-tinged vodka sorrow. We'll see. If it's the former, it'll be holiday presents for some neighbors. Somewhere in there I might clean my apartment.
