We had Porto's breakfast on Monday. So good.
We miss you, sara. Noah certainly is sad about your absence, but he's enjoying grandpa in Idaho. Apparently today they rode the 4 wheeler (which he loves) and he learned to say "brrrr" and shiver. He also said Pepper to me on the phone (that's grandpa's cat) and Bear (grandpa's dog).
Damn. I miss him.

Damn, y'all. I went off for like two hours and you turned into talky meats.
Mmm... Cuban sandwiches. Although I like media noches better.
The etouffée came out rather well. The rice basically disintegrated and the chicken was falling apart. The spice was at tingly, sinus clearing levels without heading into burning off the tastebuds territory.
Dessert was a warm gingerbread Pop Tart.

Aw, I'm glad he's having a great time in Idaho. How's K survivng travel with the boy? I really do wish I was closer, I miss the company (which is kinda hilarious given how I'm a hermit.) I got the holiday card today! So.damned.cute.
I hate water leaks. Seriously sketches me out. I have nightmares about collapsing ceilings and mold, seriously. I went out and wrote in red sharpie on concrete where they were. Fuck'em if they ignore me.
