We're supposedly discussing our holiday party options at an all-hands meeting tomorrow. We are a tiny group so it's probably lunch in the 'hood. Lunch and drinks if it's like last year, and I believe it will be. Missing from the party will be my work nemesis (I like to call him The Asshole). He was fired today. As (I am pretty sure) was his not as assholish but still difficult to work with twin brother.
I feel a little bad about being gleeful over somebody losing their job 3 weeks before christmas but it was a long time coming.

Since I don't know them I'll go ahead and be doubly gleeful for you.
Bad timing, but good news for you. And who do we care about? You! In other work news, my boss got the final promotion so she's not Interim any more. Good news!
What's your default lunch?
Turkey and brie on a baguette.
Hec, have you read Michael Ruhlman's perspective on the chicken caesar?
He agrees with me on it's defaulticity!
Queer-Travel.de: The other side of America
It shows what the backside of Mt. Rushmore looks like....
My default lunch is a tuna melt panini, hold the lettuce.
Did you contact a place that does a normal trivia night (like a live person asking questions)? or is this a computerized thing on tvs in the pub?
I am writing it myself!! I'm fashioning it after the pub quiz I went to at Brit's in Minneapolis. Two rounds of general trivia, one round of agency-based trivia, and a music round that will be Guess the Song. (Our agency makes a CD each year based on the party theme. The employees each submit a song - thisyear, people have to guess who submitted what song.)
