That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Did you contact a place that does a normal trivia night (like a live person asking questions)? or is this a computerized thing on tvs in the pub?

I am writing it myself!! I'm fashioning it after the pub quiz I went to at Brit's in Minneapolis. Two rounds of general trivia, one round of agency-based trivia, and a music round that will be Guess the Song. (Our agency makes a CD each year based on the party theme. The employees each submit a song - thisyear, people have to guess who submitted what song.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Uber-cool!! And the type of good time people will remember for a long time. There might actually be stories and songs about the party songs.

Did lingerie mean something different in 1912?

Hygiene for the Worker: 1912 guide to being a sweet-smelling prole

Clothing. Here also should be mentioned the impro- priety of wearing, during business, clothing that seems suitable only for evening or home use. The type of waist known as the lingerie is one that the business girl should not wear in the office. It is neither sensible nor dignified. Nor is it an economy, for on account of its sheerness it requires greater care and expense in laundering ; hence, it is seldom washed as frequently as it should be. There is nothing more distasteful to the average business man than unclean finery.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Brit's in Minneapolis

Brit's! I love Brit's! And their sister pub, Keiran's, has the best fish and chips I've ever had. Nom nom nom.
