Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Empanadas.

Compassionately intolerant

I am writing it myself!! I'm fashioning it after the pub quiz I went to at Brit's in Minneapolis. Two rounds of general trivia, one round of agency-based trivia, and a music round that will be Guess the Song. (Our agency makes a CD each year based on the party theme. The employees each submit a song - thisyear, people have to guess who submitted what song.)

Uber-cool!! And the type of good time people will remember for a long time. There might actually be stories and songs about the party songs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did lingerie mean something different in 1912?

Hygiene for the Worker: 1912 guide to being a sweet-smelling prole

Clothing. Here also should be mentioned the impro- priety of wearing, during business, clothing that seems suitable only for evening or home use. The type of waist known as the lingerie is one that the business girl should not wear in the office. It is neither sensible nor dignified. Nor is it an economy, for on account of its sheerness it requires greater care and expense in laundering ; hence, it is seldom washed as frequently as it should be. There is nothing more distasteful to the average business man than unclean finery.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Brit's in Minneapolis

Brit's! I love Brit's! And their sister pub, Keiran's, has the best fish and chips I've ever had. Nom nom nom.

Yes; the article is talking about a shirt.

Punishingly Intricate

Bad timing, but good news for you. And who do we care about? You!

Awesome! My boss came by to tell me it was going to happen on Monday. To reassure me that it had nothing to do with the economy or our business. Hmm...it sounds like the brother is still up there. Not sure what's going on with that. I kind of thought the departure of the Asshole would have been more dramatic. It maybe went down before I got here today. He seemed sort of prone to violence. But maybe he knew it was going to happen.

My default lunch out now is turkey club from Jimmie's. My default lunch from home used to be Big Salad w/ lots of veggies and boiled egg, gorgonzola, walnuts, homemade vinaigrette. But I haven't done that in a while. I need to get back on that tip!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Brit's! I love Brit's!

My brother is having his rehearsal dinner there! They are there every Thursday night for Cosgrove's Pub Quiz. LOVED it when I was there. The pasty I had there was AMAZING.

Always Anti-fascist!

Roast beef, turkey san, possibly bologna. Chicken Caesar is up there, though.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This (from tommy's link) is making me laugh until I cry (bold mine) It is from a list of things you shoul ddo every morning.

10. Are you starting the day with good posture? Have
you clean skin, clean underclothes? Have you
cleaned the intestinal tract of accumulated waste?
Have you had enough sleep in good fresh air ?
