Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I blame raisins.

I blame craisins. Which are not nearly as yummy as currants. And I say that as a pro-cranberry person.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Jesse -- yep, it was actually Flavor-Aid, but everybody thinks it was Kool-Aid anyway and I'm not even sure if F-A is still in business....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I would think the connotations might have forced them to change the brand name, if nothing else.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's pretty common in Canada. Or was, last I remember.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, you can totally still get it. [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

And it even comes in Hispanic flavors!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Mmmmm... Hispanic...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That reminds me of earlier this year when one of the local supermarkets had put up new signs in the freezer department that read stuff like "breakfast!", "novelties!" and "potatos!" and over in one corner was "hispanics!"

I noticed the next time I went through that last one had gone away....

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Currants, like muscat raisins and other baking-centric dried foods, have become a hard-to-find niche item. It's frustrating (currants are easier to find than muscats, which are essentially unfindable unless you have a source to order baking bulks of them) during fruitcake season.

The status is NOT quo.

Cyberstalking is definitely creepy.

I have to laugh at myself, though, because I was catching up and started reading these posts from some new poster "Kristen's Roommate" I was getting annoyed at the way she was acting like she'd been in the community forever. Then I got to the stalking conversation and felt like an idiot.
