I’m going to have to wear a jacket, right?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
They are business casual, so no jeans, shorts, or t-shirts, and men must not wear open toed shoes. Jackets are preferred at dinner but not required
I hope not, Matt, or else we are going to need more seats on the evil bus.
hey Seattlistas! Bob and I will be in your town for a couple days in September, the 19th and 20th and then back again on the 27th. I've never been and Bob hasn't been for years so I'd love suggestions on cool, off the beaten path, things to do. We'll be staying at the Hotel Monaco on 4th Avenue & Spring St. and won't have a car. Also, of course, would love to see anybody who will be around! Ideally, if there is someplace that would work, we could hang out for a few hours in a place with good drinks and people could show up if they are able.
whoo!!! Thank you, Lee.
Awesome, lisah! We can def give recommends. I'll probably be in town, and would love to do dinner or drinks or whatever. Not sure about "off the beaten path", but...
DANA!
I'm going to have several hours to meander around Houston. Do you have any recommendations on what to do?
Awesome, meara! We'll make a plan closer to when we're there. Maybe notoff the beaten path so much as we'd like personal recommendations from folks who live there!
Do you have any recommendations on what to do?
Go to the nearest Spec's and grab me one of each Jester King beer you can find? (kidding!)
I could totally do that!
The hotel deal I got includes parking, and the weekly rate was basically the same as paying for 5 days of car rental, so I am going to have my car in NOLA as well. It will probably be parked the whole time I am there, but this way I can just throw beer in the trunk until you can collect it.
Museum? Zoo? Rothko Chapel?
