Hey, you all! I love San Francisco in August. And I wanted to apologize for not being able to organize a get together while we were there. It's hard to explain, but between the fact that I do a lot of social planning in my every day life and the fact that Tom really needed a holiday from his social anxiety, I just couldn't do any non-spontaneous plans. I'm glad that javachick was able to come to our hotel for a nightcap on our last night in SF!
We didn't even contact Tom's best friends in Sacramento (which we are probably in some trouble for) for this trip.
Anyway, I just wanted to explain and I hope there are no hard feelings!

Oh, boo. The plan is to leave Labor Day, and then start my new job on Tuesday. I'm just waiting for new job to confirm when I have to be on a plane to NH before pulling the trigger on the SFO ticket.

I will be at Worldcon, at least from Friday night through Monday.(Big family trip gets back Tuesday of that week, and Rosh Hashanah is the following week, so I'm not using any time-off for LoneStarCon.)

I get in to San Antonio/Worldcon on Thursday afternoon if the planes all align. I know I have panels Saturday and Sunday, the Writers' Workshop on Sunday, and (possibly) two readings (MEEP). Leaving early Monday so I can get back for HPF's first day of 4th grade. Sheryl, I hope we can have that coffee. I WON'T have a migraine, I swear it.
I would love to see everyone - Chris, PC - some of it has to be played by ear until I know my full schedule.
