YES!! That's right, I did meet her there!! YAY!!!
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I went flip flop shopping with Holli at the DC F2F.
I wore Holli's SHOES at the DC F2F. (Really. On the way back from flip-flop shopping, I think, or some other shopping/outing, because my own shoes hurt my feet and Holli offered me hers.)
It's all about the shoes.
Remember amych's flamey leather shoes she got in Chicago.
So, three more?

So, you've walked a mile in her shoes and feel like you know her? :)
So, not exactly F2F, but possibly: my BFF and I have been spending Thanksgiving together for a few years--not last year, but the year before we went to Miami. This year we were thinking LA. Not sure yet what sort of touristy-ness we would want to do, and we'd definitely rent a car. Anyone have a suggestion of where a fun place for a (notsuperexpensive) hotel would be? Other than probably wanting to go to the beach to walk around one day, and maybe doing Disneyland one day, we'd mostly be hanging out and watching movies and catching up. And eating. Suggestions?
Yay for meara in LA! Not sure about hotels, but there's lots of yummy food to eat, in pretty much every price range.
Any neighborhoods that would have some food and fun walking distance, but also have hotels, would probably be the preference.
Well I'm on the Westside so that's where my knowledge is skewed. I'd say Santa Monica or MidWilshire for this side of town, not sure about more east. Silverlake? Hollywood?
We throw a Big Damn Urban Family Thanksgiving at our place--you would of course be invited!!
