Right! Now that I'm back from London and my voucher to Viceroy of India expires on August 4th, I shall try to arrange a dinner with Chicagoistas for reals this time.
This Saturday or Sunday would work best for me, but I probably could do a week night if that works out better for others.
Coincidentally, I'm at Capitol City Brewing right now (AIFG) as Cuba Libretto was closed for the big frat thing, and it's totally cool for kids. And they have pomegranate margaritas.
Edited because while I was chatting and not cracking the whip on auto-correct, it changed Cuba Libre to Cuba Libretto
Cool, I have a reservation for us at 11:30 on the 14th.
For Aims and anyone else visiting DC - an app for the National Mall from the Park Service.
Also, the Newseum - which is fairly expensive - is giving children free admission (under 12, I believe).
Vortex, would you mind adding one more to the reservation? I think I can make it.
(Also, Aims, I eat at that Original Pancake House pretty often-- my grandmother lives right nearby-- and it is delicious.)
If you get a chance, try out Black Market Bistro, which is fairly close to where you'll be staying, in Garrett Park.
Actually, can you add one more in addition to Holli? WHOM I HAVE NEVER MET I DON'T THINK!!!
Holli made an appearance at the DC F2F. Were you there?
My DH is a definite maybe, too.
