Hey, Bay Area Buffistas. I will be in Oakland tomorrow and Wednesday for work so if anyone is interested in perhaps having dinner on Tuesday night, please let me know. Unless you hang out in the Reality TV thread, I probably never talk to you around these parts anymore, but I certainly would enjoy seeing folks if it works out. I'm staying near the Oakland Convention Center, though I have no idea where that is having been to Oakland maybe once before in my entire life, but I'm happy to come in to SF if that is more convenient.

Aw, man! Tuesday is the first Little League All-Stars tournament game, or at least one if not all of Zmayhem would be there in a flash.

Hm. The Oakland Convention Center is not far from where my husband works. That might work out conveniently.

OTOH, my cough that alarmed Hec at Jilli's reading has gotten, if anything, worse and I'd hate to be spreading it to anyone else.

I have met both megan and PC and both are very sparkly and foamy as Buffistae are wont to be. I suppose I should note here that I'm getting into Oakland tomorrow at 10:00ish and I have a meeting at noon and a meeting at 3:30 which should only last about half an hour and then I have to go to my company's Oakland office to do actual work until about 5:30-6:00ish after which time I will be free to do what I want. And then on Wednesday, I have meetings all morning until about noon after which I may have another meeting from noon to one or maybe not depending on the schedule of the person I'm trying to meet with and then I fly back to LA Wednesday at quarter to 5:00, so very quick trip with too many meetings with people who are not Buffistas.
