I'm aboard the Norwegian Star for the next two weeks and will be in Alaska. I think Kristin posted something about this. Libkitty, is it you that is on our route? So I went to a Fourth of July party at a friend's house, and when I arrived, I saw a woman in all black with a black parasol. "Hm," I thought to myself, "perhaps a Goth! I shall tell her about Jilli's book."
Except she had actually been at the Burlingame signing! She was the one with the little babybat in the Babybat shirt. The babybat was in attendance as well, and he was adorable.
Also present was...Karl Thiessen! Whom I had met briefly at the SF2F but had not seen since.
