Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Really, the only thing making me drag my feet is that I'm getting another cat on Monday, and I'm worried that the two of them won't be getting along well enough to be left mostly alone for 3 or 4 days. I can hire a cat-sitter, but she can't be here all the time.

Am I really thinking of not taking a wanted and needed vacation because my cats might fight?

Take the vacation. You will regret it and worse, blame the cats, if you don't.

Oh, I wouldn't blame the cats. Not their fault I'm a nutcase!

Oh, you say that now. But in the moment. Sitting there watching all the posts coming from Seattle. The crazy, it sets in.

Ahem.

Consider this my good-deed for Plei.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Come one, come all. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. Second star on the right, and straight on until morning. (um, I'm running out of things to say... did it work yet?)

What's the cancellation policy of the hotel? You can make the reservation now for the rate and if it doesn't work out, you can cancel it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

From juliana "F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us" Apr 28, 2009 2:58:36 pm PDT

...the group cancellation policy is 72 hours before the event, as opposed to the 24 hour policy as stated on the website (and when you book).

You are all quite persuasive. Tomorrow I shall book a room and attempt to find a flight that won't cost me a spare kidney. If someone could move Seattle closer to Virginia, that'd be great. What's with this enormous land mass between me and the fun?
