So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Oh, you say that now. But in the moment. Sitting there watching all the posts coming from Seattle. The crazy, it sets in.

Ahem.

Consider this my good-deed for Plei.

Come one, come all. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. Second star on the right, and straight on until morning. (um, I'm running out of things to say... did it work yet?)

What's the cancellation policy of the hotel? You can make the reservation now for the rate and if it doesn't work out, you can cancel it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...the group cancellation policy is 72 hours before the event, as opposed to the 24 hour policy as stated on the website (and when you book).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You are all quite persuasive. Tomorrow I shall book a room and attempt to find a flight that won't cost me a spare kidney. If someone could move Seattle closer to Virginia, that'd be great. What's with this enormous land mass between me and the fun?

Dude. I am crossing FOUR fucking continents to get there.

Dooooo eeeeet!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Geez, considering that the other way you only have to cross one little ocean, that seems excessive.

I agree! And yet this seems to be the direction people go.

Sounds like Fay is flying the equivalent to the US train system. For me to visit my sister in Orlando area (where there is a train station), I have to travel NORTH to Chicago, then over to the coast, then SOUTH to Florida, rather than just across the panhandle. 3 days! Crazy I tell you.
