My brother just im'd me that. He pointed out that when he voted in his predominantly black voting district...all the voters were white. He found that striking.

I've never had to before. But I did this time and I even took my state-sent you've changed address card to show I am indeed registered correctly at my new address.

I did. And had to provide an electronic signature as comparison. None of which I minded because it was policy.

No. You can show your voter registration card (mine is so beat up) or just give your name and address.
