Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did not show ID, just signed the signature page.

“Not dead yet!”

I have a question. Did anyone else have to show ID at their polling place?

I did. And had to provide an electronic signature as comparison. None of which I minded because it was policy.

No. You can show your voter registration card (mine is so beat up) or just give your name and address.

Definitely the first time I was asked for ID to vote.

Nope, not in San Bruno, CA.

Oh. I wasn't bothered. I even took my Official Voter Reg Card because I'd moved. They were on the verge of giving me a hard time and I pointed out I had both forms of ID. Then they did the same thing to K later in the day.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I have voted in CO, AR, and now MO, and have always had to show photo ID.

Strega, I can't decide between #5 and #8

Also, I was getting all bummed because CNN made it look like CO was going to McCain, but the fact that you can go to the county level report, you then notice it's only one county! [link]

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

With half of the Florida precincts in, Obama is up 52-48.

Thrive to spite them

I absentee voted but I heard that some college students were turned away in one precient for having their student id, which is valid. The news was telling them to go back and vote if they were turned away.
