Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Mine is still off-air, too!

They're really off air, Jessica.

Maybe the big hand is dressing them all in costumes.

Art Crawl!!!

Puppies are up!

And both vocal and active and they've got an x-pen as well as their bed.

I've been reading about the Meadowlands (racetrack)' Halloween traditions: a stakes race for Fillies and Mares called "The Witches Brew" (named after a mare?) and The Gray Ghost - a handicap race for all gray horses. (Going to see if I can find video of that.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, a cool thing happened on my walk home yesterday. I was walking past this pack of high school kids with Dylan in the stroller and they were all chanting "Obama's gonna wi-in! Obama's gonna win-in!"

So I was grinning when I walked past them and one turned to me and said "You voting for Obama too??" And I said "Hell yeah!" and they all started cheering.

These kids were all obviously too young to really be voters, but it was still damn cool to see them so worked up about it.

And Dylan now has "Obama" down pat when you ask him who he's voting for. If I had a camcorder I'd put it on Youtube because it is TOO CUTE FOR WORDS.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mac is constantly growing, so I am stuck with buying for him.

If he gets a little bigger he can start wearing Emmett hand me downs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. Switched out half the white flour for whole wheat and those were some tall pancakes.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The costumes are out here at work, and someone is dressed as a sumo wrestler! (It's a plastic all-body costume, complete with sagging man-boobs and the loin cloth.)

We also have a beaver, a deviled egg, a zebra and her little toddler girl who's a skunk, and a few witches.

(The next department over is made up of mostly 20something contractors who like to party together, so getting kitted out in full costumes isn't a stretch for them.)

Coding and Sleeping

There are a couple of people who would dress up on Halloween but they were both laid off yesterday.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My costume is still in my drawer - haven't seen anyone else dressed up here yet. We are supposed to have a "costumed pot-luck" today - so who knows.

CJ is all jazzed about being the one to answer the door and hand out candy - though I'd be shocked if we got more than one Trick or Treater. Mom bought two bags of candy. Craxyness.
