My costume is still in my drawer - haven't seen anyone else dressed up here yet. We are supposed to have a "costumed pot-luck" today - so who knows.
CJ is all jazzed about being the one to answer the door and hand out candy - though I'd be shocked if we got more than one Trick or Treater. Mom bought two bags of candy. Craxyness.
There are a couple of people who would dress up on Halloween but they were both laid off yesterday.
That is more trick than treat.

Are you going as a crazed A's fan with a green wig?
There are a couple of people who would dress up on Halloween but they were both laid off yesterday.
Let that be a lesson to us all.
Wow, even Nature magazine is supporting Obama.
This journal does not have a vote, and does not claim any particular standing from which to instruct those who do. But if it did, it would cast its vote for Barack Obama.
I have yet to see anyone (human or pet) in a Halloween costume. Dunno what's up - I usually at least see some on the train.
For anyone who's looking for last night's Rachel Maddow interviw with Obama, Crooks and Liars has it.
I highly recommend watching it--it's probably the most informative interview I've yet seen with him.
Quite a few people in my office wore costumes today. (One of whom came in as a very awesome Supergirl.)
When asked about my costume, I replied that I was dressed as a TV writer. So now I'm taking extra cigarette breaks, surfing the internet and generally procrastinating.
HA! The OT people were in costume: a witch. A princess. Raggedy Ann. Except our OT came as herself because she deals with the littlest ones and didn't want to freak anyone out.
I keep peeking in from what I'm supposed to be doing to see if Jilli has posted her costume yet...
anyone? Bueller?
I'm tempted to get a box and letter it so that I can go as the 'ESC' key.
but that needs to meet up with my motivation somewhere.
Halloween in our house is costume-less, unless we can somehow pretend that The Boy's hernia surgery is only a costume.
His schedule is all ferwonked because he's taking percocet which is making him sleep a lot, so he's sleeping when I'm awake, and then when I get ready to leave the house -- like to go VOTE -- he wakes up and requests food. And since he's a fairly un-demanding person, cumulatively, and since he takes really good care of me, I'm happy to get him food and such when he wants it.
(But I really need to leave the house, dang it, so that I can vote and go to the gym and the grocery store and get back in time for the trick-or-treaters, because I don't think the Boy will be able to sit on the porch and hand out candy. Especially in a nightgown.)
