I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Until this week, I expect Palin could have just said:

I've never heard Henry Kissinger

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It looks like CNN is reporting that McCain is heading down to Mississippi now.

Since I'm going to out enjoying a nice dinner during the debate, I've got my DVR recording it from BBC America. It should be pretty interesting to hear what the British pundits and Ted Koppel have to say about the whole thing!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Sarah PALIN is calling Henry fucking KISSINGER....naive???

Well, to be fair, she's not a war criminal, so she at least has the moral edge between them.

I just don't understand why having talks with another country is a concession. If you are denying that a government is legitimate, then I see the point. Aside from that, I don't see it as a concession. Hasn't the making demands in order to talk strategy already not worked for Bush?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just don't understand why having talks with another country is a concession.

I mean, Reagan (who I hear some conservatives like) talked to the Soviet Union. Nixon talked to China. And for some reason we can't talk to Iran?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Henry Kissinger can fairly be called a lot of things. "Naive" is not one of them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know I've heard various accounts of the F2F crisis meeting at the White House yesterday that described that 'shouting' was going on at it, without any identification of who was doing the yelling... aside from mention that McCain was largely silent during it. So who was yelling?
