All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I really want to go down there, but I'm afraid I'll be working late enough that I won't be able to get near the place. I'm also afraid I'll freeze.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The high on Monday is supposed to be 67. (I haven't seen a forecast for Tuesday.) But still, that's a week away.

I don't work that far away from Grant Park, but I'm going to be anxious all day and being in a ginormous crowd may not be the best idea.

If I go home, I will have booze and also Jon and Stephen. And the ability to stop watching election coverage if I need a breather.

Early voting in GA - already 36% of the TOTAL 2004 vote: [link]

Wow. There was a line out the door at the polling place downtown at lunchtime today.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not sure how I'd swing it if I lived in Chicago, but I am pretty sure I'd try and be down there with mac.

As it is I am having an early dinner with my brother and two highschool friends that I have not seen in 21 years, then coming home and getting mac to bed as fast as possible so I can watch and post.

ION - mac is OBSESSED with I Love Rock N Roll (thank you Guitar Hero) - he is butt naked with the cordless guitar on right now jumping around and trying to remember the lyrics. I'd be tempted to get video, but for the naked part.

I am floored by the fact that my health-conscious vegetarian cousin has never had pomegranate seeds before (I bought one the other day and was passing a bowl of them around at the office). It made sense to me last year when I brought a white dragonfruit in to share (I'd never seen one before either), but are pomegranates really that unusual?

In other news, Alouette sundried tomato spread + cucumbers = yummy sandwich

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love pomegranates, and we always had them as a fall treat in my childhood. I should get one!

We just got told we could take time off work to vote, so I think most of my department is going to plan to come in late after voting, so I'm going to have to vote after work, and then I'll just be here.

Ha! Looks like it may have been decided for me.

Thanks for signing up for the wait list for the Election Night event in Chicago.

If tickets become available, you will receive an email with further ticketing information.

We were all exotic because we had a pomegranate bush in the back yard that actually produced fruit.

However, that was southern NM 30+ years ago. The newfound trendiness of pomegranate bemuses me.

mac cracks me up.

I am going to be at work until 10 next week. Georgia polled at +1 for McCain today. Nate Silver is my new internet boyfriend. These statements are all related.
