There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I am floored by the fact that my health-conscious vegetarian cousin has never had pomegranate seeds before (I bought one the other day and was passing a bowl of them around at the office). It made sense to me last year when I brought a white dragonfruit in to share (I'd never seen one before either), but are pomegranates really that unusual?

In other news, Alouette sundried tomato spread + cucumbers = yummy sandwich

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love pomegranates, and we always had them as a fall treat in my childhood. I should get one!

We just got told we could take time off work to vote, so I think most of my department is going to plan to come in late after voting, so I'm going to have to vote after work, and then I'll just be here.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ha! Looks like it may have been decided for me.

We were all exotic because we had a pomegranate bush in the back yard that actually produced fruit.

However, that was southern NM 30+ years ago. The newfound trendiness of pomegranate bemuses me.

mac cracks me up.

I am going to be at work until 10 next week. Georgia polled at +1 for McCain today. Nate Silver is my new internet boyfriend. These statements are all related.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I took the am off to egotiate voteig without a car. And the I will be in the costume shop with my fellow very liberal student, but no access to media. Maybe I should give us the night off?

The student is so cute-- I have had him since his freshman year and now he is a seior, and has decided to transform from "Daniel" to "Dan"-- but he didn't really tell anyone-- just started introducing himself as Dan, and I asked. I am having such a hard time changing! We also have fun because his sisters are all older than him (m age) and so we listen to 10,000 Maniacs and the Indigo Girls and Madonna.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This video is pretty funny - the Fox newscaster (Megyn Kelly) just gets so angry: Bill Burton Isn't Taking Any Bull From Faux News Channel

eta: OMG, the sarcasm is just flying back and forth. Megyn definitely is the loser here....

I am actually figuring out how to chat with my brother not through the google interface. Shocking.
