This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

F, C, M:

I am going to be at work until 10 next week.
Georgia polled at +1 for McCain today.
Nate Silver is my new internet boyfriend.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I took the am off to egotiate voteig without a car. And the I will be in the costume shop with my fellow very liberal student, but no access to media. Maybe I should give us the night off?

The student is so cute-- I have had him since his freshman year and now he is a seior, and has decided to transform from "Daniel" to "Dan"-- but he didn't really tell anyone-- just started introducing himself as Dan, and I asked. I am having such a hard time changing! We also have fun because his sisters are all older than him (m age) and so we listen to 10,000 Maniacs and the Indigo Girls and Madonna.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This video is pretty funny - the Fox newscaster (Megyn Kelly) just gets so angry: Bill Burton Isn't Taking Any Bull From Faux News Channel

eta: OMG, the sarcasm is just flying back and forth. Megyn definitely is the loser here....

I am actually figuring out how to chat with my brother not through the google interface. Shocking.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope that after the election is over, a friend of my husband's father will stop sending us racist and stupid and ignorant e-mail forwards.

Usually I just delete, but a while back I couldn't take it anymore and went on a rampage every time I got the hate mail, reply all style. It has been ages since I received any.

Mmmm pomegranate. There was a big old bin with them tonight when I went shopping. Now regretting passing it by.

I want to have a moment of temporary insanity and go to Chicago for the results party.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plus a ginger and bourbon or two!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoo for vacation!

I have never had pomegranate. But I saw Alton showing me what to do and now I keep wanting to buy one at the grocery but I am still afeared.

We got our sample ballot in the mail today. I'm really glad we get those; it really helps. Which reminds me, I need to check on early voting. I'm kinda wanting to go vote with the crowd, but the SO hates lines so I want to make sure he gets to the ballot box. Although he's probably going to vote Libertarian or something, I dunno. Still, the man should vote without trauma, ijs.

In other news, I am obsessed with the fact that the cartoon squares on xkcd do that optical illusion thing with me where you see little dots in all the intersections with your peripheral vision but don't if you look directly at an intersection. Obsessed, I tell you.
