"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I just finally read through all 12 state propositions. The only ones where I'm sure of my vote are #1 (high-speed rail) and #8.

I'm scared to read the 22 propositions relating to San Francisco alone.

How does California work election-wise? Being a blue state, I'm guessing the urban cores, especially LA, must dominate the vote.

In Missouri, there are two urban cores that almost exactly match everywhere else, hence being a swing state. Elections are sort of fun to watch because outstate results come in early so the election results can change dramatically as the evening goes on. To do 70%, that means outstate must have been above 90%. I live in an outstate area, so my political perspective is sort of warped.

I'm voting for the proposition on the humane treatment of animals pre-food.

"You'll live a happy and carefree life, and then we'll cut your head off and eat you. But we won't cut your beak off and stick you in a tiny cage for the whole of your miserable existence."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'd urge a yes on Prop 2. Don't know what all the others are.

ETA: Should'a known that would be an x-post. Here's a brief explanation of what it is, to sneak some useful content in: [link]

Except the densely populated Orange County area is heavily Republican. It produced Ronald Reagan.

Also the Inland Empire (center stripe of the state, originally all farmland) is more conservative, and the outer edges of the state (points north and southeast) can get contrarian and liberterian.

Can someone tell me what Palin means by the media filter? Like at her stump speeches she will say she is glad to be out from under the media filter, but how is the media filtering her? in interviews can't she just say what she wants? or is her campaign just so far from reality that they are just blaming figureheads "media" "liberal elite" for things regardless of any truth?

Like what was she going on about today, saying Obama flip-flopping on taxes?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Can someone tell me what Palin means by the media filter?

Coherent questions that require coherent answers?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Like at her stump speeches she will say she is glad to be out from under the media filter, but how is the media filtering her? in interviews can't she just say what she wants?

The liberal media wants to ask her questions! That some times have factual answers! That she may or may not know! Gotcha journalism! Fake american elite journalists! aodifga;lfjsl [qerjalkf

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And let us not forget, the liberal media is annoying.
