Answer whitefonted: The Republican ticket of Hoover/Curtis way back in 1928 was the last time a GOP ticket without a Bush or Nixon won.

Returning to the earlier Kinkos conversation, I have found out the hard way that printing to Kinkos in places like NYC or DC is roughly 150% of what I would pay in other cities like Atlanta or LA.

Actually, come to think of it, I have the same feeling from Facebook. I've gotten a few friend requests where I haven't had any idea who the person was, nobody seemed offended when I asked who they were. I did confirm a request from somebody who knew me from school and I still have no idea who they are.
