"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I just feel like so much shit.

Will getting the prescription and antihistamines help you to feel marginally less like shit? That's usually the only way I can motivate myself for a pharmacy run.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My ballot has arrived! This vote-by-mail thing is exciting.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm on an iPhone and lacking copy-paste at the moment, but anyone who hasn't seen it yet should google "alex Ross Obama" and check out the t-shirt/poster. It's pretty damn cool.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I saw that yesterday, Jess, and it is COOL!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I finally got around to ordering our Halloween costumes. Batman for Owen, Robin for Liv and Catwoman (basically the mask & gloves which I will wear with a black turtleneck and yoga pants) for me.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've been home for about 2 hours. I've had a cat curled up in my lap for a little over an hour. I think Gilda missed me.

Eventually I need to get up to take a decongestant and see where Rosie is.

“Not dead yet!”

Y'all are going to look awesome, Cash. We went last night and bought costumes for Nate and Abby- she decided quickly that she wanted to be a witch, but she was very picky about the type of witch costume-- none of the romantic or cute dresses for her, no sir. She went right for the vampy ones. We reached a compromise.

Nate's going as a gladiator. Grim reaper was also a possibility as was a ninja or a pirate. Are we seeing the theme here? Basically, if it would allow him to carry a sword or scythe of some sort, he was good. The gladiator had the biggest sword.

Oy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Count me inspired. Between shrift's simple reminder and the residual energy left over after a video call I took from home, I made it out.

Got some Zicam inhalable decongestant as well as Benadryl in case it doesn't work. Seems okay so far.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I had a very specific plan for today, then got up too late to do what I planned. So all I've done is laundry and watch the marathon of Band of Brothers on History.

Oh, and I cut some more of my hair off. At this rate I should be bald by November.

I cut my hair last weekend and did such a bad job I need to do it again this weekend. But I've just had a rum toddy for my throat so I think it will be tomorrow.
