Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Emmett looks just like her too!

“Not dead yet!”

Palin's snide misquote of Albright in that article makes me extremely angry. Yes, there will be angry emails in my future.

Yeah, but in admitting that she got it off a Starbucks cup, we now know what she reads.

::not even bothering to pry tongue from cheek::

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

MsBelle:

The LA NOW chapter needs a leadership overthrow.
Quester
If the president of that chapter is endorsing McCain-Palin, but not the chapter itself, she can do whatever she wants.

These statements are completely compatible. If the local NOW President endorses an anti-choice, weak on contraception candidate who is not even supportive of rape victims, and who supports gender discrimination in the workplace, that is a good reason for membership to throw her out of a leadership position. She supports a woman who opposes every core NOW policy against a candidate who supports every core NOW policy (albeit some of them in a half-assed way).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett looks just like her too!

See what I'm saying?

You stand him next to me and he looks like me. You stand him next to his mom and he looks like her. You put him between us and it's like one of those optical illusion cards.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You stand him next to me and he looks like me. You stand him next to his mom and he looks like her. You put him between us and it's like one of those optical illusion cards.

There's an enormous banner here in Cincy on the side of one of the buildings downtown, of Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo. The way the picture is taken, with his sandy long-hair sticking out from under his hat, and the way the hat is shading part of his face, and his little almost-smile, that reminds me so much of Emmett, both physically and in terms of attitude, that it spooks me every time I drive by it.

Although I see that Emmett has given up his long hair for now.

Emmett and Matilda are adorable, both apart and together, but the together is exponential.

I'm waiting for the washers to be free. Three loads to do. Bah.

Got a feliway room diffuser. Totally not sure if it'll make any difference, but what the hell. Any bit helps. Found cheaper food for Loki. And Mister Kitty is certain it is made of catfood gold. Sigh. It's pretty much the same ingredients and their fancy-ass-picky-stomachs-pancreas-crazy-expensive stuff, but aparently is more desireable... Figures.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Will MK turn up his nose at fancy food, too?

I've found that Amarna is rather unusual in that she really only likes dry kibble. Gooshyfood does nothing for her, not even tuna, although she does love tuna water.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Hey, is it possibly Sail's birthday?

Tomorrow, babe, but I'll take any prezzies offered early!

despite knowing my last name, which is obviously German, asked me several times whether I was Puerto Rican.

I don't know that it's large, but there is a definite German presence on the island. One of my coworkers year ago had a very Spanish last name with a very German first name. Wikipedia says the Royal Decree of Graces 1815 opened up immigration to any European looking for a little free land as long as they swore loyalty to Spain and converted to Cathlocism. Later decrees even eliminated the conversion requirement. The population of PR went from 155,000 to around one million between 1800-1900. Most of the non-Spanish immigrants were Irish, Scottish, French and German.

MK will still eat his stuff. But he REALLY wants Loki's food. He's on a special diabetic food.

All the cats are on dry stuff. Wet stuff is reserved for emergencies.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

You put him between us and it's like one of those optical illusion cards.

And thus you have described my parents and my brother and me.
