We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Will MK turn up his nose at fancy food, too?

I've found that Amarna is rather unusual in that she really only likes dry kibble. Gooshyfood does nothing for her, not even tuna, although she does love tuna water.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Hey, is it possibly Sail's birthday?

Tomorrow, babe, but I'll take any prezzies offered early!

despite knowing my last name, which is obviously German, asked me several times whether I was Puerto Rican.

I don't know that it's large, but there is a definite German presence on the island. One of my coworkers year ago had a very Spanish last name with a very German first name. Wikipedia says the Royal Decree of Graces 1815 opened up immigration to any European looking for a little free land as long as they swore loyalty to Spain and converted to Cathlocism. Later decrees even eliminated the conversion requirement. The population of PR went from 155,000 to around one million between 1800-1900. Most of the non-Spanish immigrants were Irish, Scottish, French and German.

MK will still eat his stuff. But he REALLY wants Loki's food. He's on a special diabetic food.

All the cats are on dry stuff. Wet stuff is reserved for emergencies.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

You put him between us and it's like one of those optical illusion cards.

And thus you have described my parents and my brother and me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Minor grump of the day: why do people bid so high on Ebay? Current price on a used item I bid has exceeded the undiscounted retail of price of new one. Several others have sold for comparable prices.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Victory at any cost?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I think aurelia is right. It's all about the chase.

hip deep in pie

I just voted in my municipal election ONLINE! Also, I found out during voting that my crazy, crazy, batshit crazy former co-op neighbor was running for School Board. God help us all if she wins.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've spent most of my afternoon laboring to understand XML and arrays in ActionScript, and making actual progress, much to my surprise and pleasure. All the work I put in in my C# and Java OOP class seems to have stuck, which is a relief.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
