My mom was just here for the week, but I feel like I got no extra rest out of it. Mac was not allowing her to sub in for my mom duties at night, so the biggest benefit for a family visit (from my standpoint) was lost. Therefore, I am ti-red. I can sleep in tomorrow while he watches cartoons, but what I am really craving is lounge about alone time.

That's really interesting, and reminds me of the Bill Bradley campaign office I went to volunteer at here in NYC back in the day. It was so pathetic, I pretty much immediately stopped supporting him, since if they couldn't get anything going in NYC, where could they?

St. Louis is a pretty strong Obama area, maybe McCain has a better presence outstate in Missouri. Missouri is always Kansas City and St. Louis vs. the rest of the state.

Obama is also campaigning hard for the one electoral vote in Omaha, since Nebraska splits its electoral vote on a per-district basis.
