Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Uh-oh. I love Whoppers; I didn't know there were better than Whoppers out there.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

these causal compliments and thanks you -- do a lot to remind someone that they are important to you.

I'll add a fourth to that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My sister introduced me to peanut butter Whoppers recently. Hopefully I won't be able to find out where to buy them.

Our wings are not tired.

My business friend that had the eye of Gustav pass over him reports a lot of destruction. This was a few hours ago, when it was just approaching.

powerlines are down everywhere, my parents house has a couple feet before water comes in. Trees fell on a couple of neighbors houses... Jim cantori of the weather channel is in the parking lot of the church I got married in a few months ago, as he was filming the roof of the churches recreation center was blown off... Looks like we have a bit more to go. the back side of the storm looks fierce .... Wow as I was typing this my best friend called and said his moms garage calapsed on their vehicles .... Looks bad

He has updated his blog with videos from his dorky LA buddies reporting on the storm. Also he posted his kitty FEMA trailers for his evacuation. Cute. [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Trader Joes makes a version that're awesome.

Awww, Ginger, you were such a cute geek girl.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love whoppers but my favorite malted milk candies are Robin's Eggs and you can only get those around Easter. I know a shop in Garden Grove that sells all kinds of UK stuff including food. I've gotten Jelly Babies and... what are those things like M&Ms only the candy shells have different flavors? So yummy. I'll have to stop by there and look for Malteasers.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So, I just took S into the ER. It's hard to say how she's doing. They'll be keeping an eye on her, and probably admitting her, but someone from some payment office was, of course, bugging her to pay the Share of Cost ($900) today. Which we can't do. We have $5 between us right now.

They say it won't affect care, but I'm not comforted. I'm stressed out, and not dealing well.
