I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

My sister introduced me to peanut butter Whoppers recently

Oh my, that would put 15 pounds on me quick.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My sister introduced me to peanut butter Whoppers recently. Hopefully I won't be able to find out where to buy them.

Trader Joes makes a version that're awesome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Awww, Ginger, you were such a cute geek girl.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love whoppers but my favorite malted milk candies are Robin's Eggs and you can only get those around Easter. I know a shop in Garden Grove that sells all kinds of UK stuff including food. I've gotten Jelly Babies and... what are those things like M&Ms only the candy shells have different flavors? So yummy. I'll have to stop by there and look for Malteasers.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So, I just took S into the ER. It's hard to say how she's doing. They'll be keeping an eye on her, and probably admitting her, but someone from some payment office was, of course, bugging her to pay the Share of Cost ($900) today. Which we can't do. We have $5 between us right now.

They say it won't affect care, but I'm not comforted. I'm stressed out, and not dealing well.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((((Sean))))) I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry, Sean. It is hard to not be stressed, but these are things that you do not have control over and can't fix. Our health care system is beyond disgraceful and the last thing in the world that people who are sick should have to deal with. {{Sean}} I wish there was something I could do or say that would help.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh, Sean. So she was able to hold out for September as she planned? I guess that's a good thing at least.

Laga, Smarties.

I'm so sorry, Sean.

I went to the store to buy a leash (I'd been using a long tether, wrapped around my hand, which hurt), and I came home with a leash... and Whoppers. No Maltesers to taste test, sadly.
