I just realized that the book I'm reading is actually the second book in this series, not the first. I didn't start buying these until about four or five books were out, so all the copies I have list all of the other books on the "other books by ..." page. Why can't books that go in an order like this be published in some way that makes the order clear? I had to check copyright dates to figure it out. The copy of the first book I have says, "By the author of The Confessor" on the cover, and The Confessor was book three.

My thesis buddy is over. She spent the night. Poor thing is in the middle of a bad breakup. You know what sucks? Being in the fun, beginning part of a relationship when one of your best buddies is in the middle of a bad breakup.

Awww...thanks WS. I just feel so badly for her. They were looking at engagement rings a month ago. And he was so supportive through the end of the thesis and graduation and stuff. It's sad.
