Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'd wear anything that allows other people to kiss your boobies, ChiKat. IJS. ;P

I think this should be a qualification for dressing at all times!

Yes.

Hmm. Both dresses look nice, ChiKat! So, whichever you have shoes that you like better for, I say! Or, if you know what color the bridesmaids are wearing, whichever color is less like that.

Happy Birthday, JZ!

So, after last week's ever so interesting convo with GILF, tonight I was feeling...something...and requested of the DJ that for the west coast swing (the dance GILF and I do together that is usually quite sexxxay) he play "A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action". Heheheheheh. And GILF and I danced, and it was fun (though not super sexy, it's a kind of hard song to dance to, and we weren't really in a groove, but we got a few good/new moves in). And at the end of the song, I explained that I had actually requested that particular song. And she was like "OH! Niiiiiiice."

...and then proceeded to tell me that I should call her and ask her on a date. I was like "Uh, no. YOU should call ME. I am not the one with a freakin' color coded excel spreadsheet timing of my polyamorous lifestyle. I'm just out of town a lot. Also, aren't you the top? Fuck that noise"

Only, um, slightly less eloquent. But that was the gist.

And then she told me that for the past many months, basically she had thought I was hot, but that they had been assessing whether I might be crazy. Because many lesbians are crazy. And because I was new, both to the group and to town, they had no one to check if I was crazy. And I had become friends with everyone, so if I was crazy, and she got involved, there would be drama not just with her, but with the whole friend group.

Apparently, I've been judged not crazy? WhateEVER.

I'm still just like "yeahhhhhh, not holding my goddamn breath"

Our wings are not tired.

GILF is projecting. That's obvious. But you're enjoying it. That's obvious, too.

So bring on the date, 'cause it makes for good stories.

Hah! Yeah. I refrained from telling her that she has already been judged CRAZY. I may still tell her that at some point, since apparently there are stories to tell me of conversations about my possible craziness, to tell me? Fuck if I know. They are apparently amusing, but I'm not entirely sure I want to hear them...though lord knows I've been dissecting her behavior, it shouldn't surprise me she's been dissecting mine!!!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yay on being judged not crazy?

I am bored. I'm also sick. Not majorly sick, just a stomach bug, but sick enough that I haven't really been doing much this week. And now I'm feeling mostly better, but bored. And I'm reading one of Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon books, which I'd said I wouldn't read anymore. (The stereotyping of the Arab characters in the last few books was getting on my nerves. But I'm reading the first one now, where the villains are mostly Nazis, and one crazy English guy, and one Swiss detective. The first few books in this series can drag me in with the neat espionage stuff, even while I avoid the last two or so because of the politics.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hee. mears's GILF stories are making me laugh. meara's my lesbian West Coast self and Trudy is my het East Coast self. I am a little drunk, so I am very philsophical. Ha. I spelled that right.

They are changing -- have changed, June 20th -- KC bars to non-smoking. IT SUCKS, btw. But we went to a dive bar with a back porch. NO ONE was there, and they had NO call liquor. But we were the only girls in the bar (and were very popular) possibly because I was wearing a emerald dress cut down to Glory, and...uh, we were the only girls in the bar. But we looked fucking cute, and sat and talke with this older guy who'd lost his wife to cancer and he was sweet and got us high on the deserted back porch.

So does someone want to come to my house and make out with me right now? It would be SO FUN!!!

lalalallala.....little drunk, feels good.

EDIT: I knew I would have to edit. Dammit. Where's my lighter?! Damn.

Awww! Drunk Erin!! I want pictures of this emerald green dress, it sounds hot! Especially with the new haircut. And cut down to there.

I would make out with you, if Kansas weren't all far away and shit. Or at least snuggle with you. Snuggling would be nice. And then we could go out for brunch in the morning, and sit in the sun outdoors and tell each other stories and people-watch, since it's Pride weekend here, and the gays will be out along the street near my house, being proud and having brunch....
