Don't worry, I won't stalk you guys, we'll just hang around the Alchemist till you show up! Tough work indeed.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG and I need to get up to Vermont soon and start looking at possible elopement places, if only so people will stop asking me if we still plan on getting married.

Summer's a good time, sj, because it's off season and it's a little easier to get in to see places and talk to people.

Going up during leaf peeping season could become an expensive and traffic-y proposition, if you're doing a lot of driving around looking at places. And innkeepers are fairly harried at that time.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So here I am, finishing up some work, ready to send a data table to my boss. I paste it into the email, and find I haven't cleared my clipboard:

"The Philadelphia Zoo is my very favorite! It's awesome."

He'll be glad to know I've been productive.

(not to discourage you from going up in the fall, sj! Just that a research trip going to several places might be better done in the summer. We researched in spring and got married in the fall, so that's how we worked it.)

We're going to look in the summer and hopefully book something for the fall, if we still can. We've been slacking because of the move.

not your mom's socks.

San Diego's Faunapalooza tops my list. But Philly is well worth the trip, as is Cincinnati's. And Melbourne Zoo, I might add. I must also give props to America Zoo in Hershey, simply because for me it was way convenient to be able to visit a North American-specific zoological garden, and the zoo on Phillip Island, which has the most reliable echidna exhibit I know of. (Bonus Phillip Island treat: the Penguin Parade!)

All is well that ends in pizza.

still plan on getting married.

WTF, sj? It's not like you've been engaged for 25 years and still waiting. Even then, none of their blinking business!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, Dalmation is obviously in fear for her position in the pack. Alpha Coon Hound is secure, but Ditzy Dalmation is insecure with the addition of the interloper. Just make sure to reassure her that she still has standing and guest dog doesn't outrank her and she should settle in.
