GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

We need to take out those base stars, but I agree trying to get some vipers between those raiders and the civvies (and maybe taking one out.) is a higher priority at the moment.

I'd suggest activating the same RSV twice. Once to move into sector 4, and then again to shoot at the raiders. With luck you'll take one of them out, and then our worst-case scenario on the next raider activation is the two remaining raiders shoot down the RSV and Apollo, but the civvies stay safe. Best case is they miss our vipers (and I can try to help with that a little.)

Or, if you have an XO, play it on Apollo so he can take two shots (or more if he has a Max Firepower card) at the raiders.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

In any fight my strategy is to take out the big guys first (plus, I like shooting) so I recommend if you have an XO to play it on me. Otherwise activating an RSV seems like a good call.

I XO Boomer. Take out one of those frakking basestars!

I will use both actions to fire on the base stars, starting with the wounded one.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG

Since she is at weapons, she could get TWO shots. Hopefully finish the original one, and damage the newer one.

that is my plan. I don't have any cards that can help with the die roll, unfortunately.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Boomer is firing at the basestars twice. Éveryone, please pass or play on SP interrupts.

No interrupts here.

The problem with the "kill the big guys first" strategy is the Basestars currently aren't threatening civilians. The raiders are. Next raider activation is going to see Apollo fired on three times, and if any of those hit, whatever shots are left will destroy civilians.

That's long enough for interrupts. Time to fire:

Die roll 1: 6. Hit! The damaged basestar is destroyed.
Die roll 2: 7. Hit! Result: Disabled Hangar. This basestar may no longer launch ships.

Bah. You blew up my toy. Obviously the only thing for it is to bring in another one. Adama's Crisis Card is:

Besieged
Cylon Attack

First up, the raiders activate; as Helo noted, they're going to shoot at Apollo.

Raider 1: 4. Miss.
Raider 2: 6. Viper damaged.

And here we pause to see if anyone wants to play an Evasive Maneouvre interrupt. All pilots, please pass or play.

I do have one evasive manoeuvre card which I will play now.
